Archives & History
The General Commission on Archives and History gathers, preserves and disseminates materials on the history of The United Methodist Church and its antecedents. It serves scholars and church members alike through archives and a library of resources.
Discipleship Ministries
Discipleship Ministries provides resources and services that assist clergy and laity leaders in local churches, districts and annual conferences as they seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Higher Education & Ministry
The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) serves Christian leaders around the world who are defined, formed and shaped by a process of intellectual engagement, spiritual and character formation, and leadership development.
United Methodist Men
As it involves men in a growing relationship to Jesus Christ and his church, United Methodist Men provides resources and support for programs of evangelism, stewardship and the needs of men. It also leads the church’s scouting ministries.

- Minstry Matters – This site offers practical and immediate inspiration for preachers, teachers, and worship leaders. With thousands of original articles and blogs, unique book reviews, and weekly worship and preaching helps in our This Sunday area, MinistryMatters.com provides both community and inspiration to Christian leaders.
- Hymnary – This is an online hymn and worship music database for worship leaders, hymnologists, and amateur hymn lovers alike. At Hymnary.org you can search or browse hymns by title, tune, meter, key, scripture reference, and more.
- UM Giving – inspiring stories and resources about the collaborative work we accomplish to fund hundreds of ministries around the world.
- Special Sundays – Special Sundays are designated Sundays each year that deepen the connection between the local church and ministries on a global scale. On each unique Sunday, individuals and congregations are encouraged to give to support the church’s collective work with a special offering.
- Bible Gateway – Bible Gateway is a searchable online Bible tool hosting more than 200 versions of the Bible in over 70 languages that you can freely read, research, and reference anywhere.

- Carolyn Hymns – Rev. Carolyn Winfrey Gillette is a hymn writer and Presbyterian pastor. She has written over 400 hymns.
- CMG (Church Motion Graphics) – Every month, we release new packs of worship visuals to bring a fresh look to your screens. Use with ProPresenter, MediaShout, EasyWorship, and all other presentation apps. They also release free still images monthly.
- Church Media Drop – Church Media Drop was created to help churches share what they have created. Together we can resource churches around the world with quality media to share the most important message, the good news of Jesus Christ.

UM Mission – Global Ministries is the international mission, humanitarian relief and development organization of The United Methodist Church. It works with partners and churches in more than 115 countries to equip and transform people and places for God’s mission.
United Methodist Committee on Relief – UMCOR – assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need. UMCOR comes alongside those who suffer from natural or human-caused disasters – famine, hurricane, war, flood, fire or other events—to alleviate suffering and serve as a source of help and hope for the vulnerable.
